Adenovirus
- Track 1: Crude amplification of adenovirus from customer’s virus, ~1 week, volume: 0.5~1ml, No titration.
- Track 2: Amplification of adenovirus from customer’s virus, 2 ~ 4 weeks, volume: 1-2 ml, Titer: >1X10^9 pfu/ml.
- Track 3: Amplification of adenovirus from customer’s virus, 2 ~ 4 weeks, volume: 1-2 ml, Titer: >1X10^10 pfu/ml.
- Track 4: Amplification of adenovirus from customer’s virus, 4 ~ 8 weeks, volume: 1-2 ml, Titer: >1X10^11 pfu/ml.
- Generation of adenovirus – individual investigators construct the shuttle vector, verify and supply the DNA to the core. Core does recombination and virus generation.
Adeno-Associated Virus (AAV)
The core has AAV serotypes (1, 2, 8 and 9) currently:
- Track 1: Investigator provides sufficient verified AAV shuttle DNA. ~ 2 weeks, ~0.1ml, Titer: >1E12 vector genomes (Vg/ml)
- Track 2: Investigator provides sufficient verified AAV shuttle DNA. 1-2 months, ~0.5ml, Titer: >1E13 vector genomes (Vg/ml)
- Track 3: Investigator provides sufficient verified AAV shuttle DNA. 1-2 months, ~0.5ml, Titer: >1E13 vector genomes (Vg/ml)
Lenti-/Retrovirus:
- Track 1: Crude virus amplification from customer’s vector, ~ 1 week, volume: ~10ml or 100ul (PEG precipitation), No titration.
- Track 2: Amplification of Lenti-/Retro-virus from customer’s vector, ~ 4 weeks, volume: 0.1 ~ 1ml, Titer: >1X10^8 TU/ml
Virus Titration
The viral vector core can measure your virus titer (1-2 weeks):
- Virus (Adenovirus, lentivirus and retrovirus) with a fluorescence reporter gene.
- Virus (Adenovirus, lentivirus and retrovirus) without a fluorescence report.
- AAV (Adeno-associated virus).
Subcloning
- The core supports services of subclone for virus vectors with knockdown, knockout, overexpression, tagging, mutation, etc.
- Users are strongly encouraged to contact Dr. Youn in the planning process of a project.
Premade Viruses
- The core can amplify some control viruses such as Adv-CMV-GFP, Lenti-PGK-eGFP, Lenti-PGK-RFP and AAV-CMV-GFP. Please contact Dr. Youn to get more information.
